Dear Friends, Image Movement is delighted to have Pierre Tremblay with his project Pools as a guest.

About

Pierre Tremblay is a Toronto based artist who mainly works with new technology and video, questioning the world in flux, how we see and perceive.
He is holding the position of Associate Professor in the School of Image Arts at Ryerson University, teaching in the Film and the MFA Documentary Media programs.

At Image Movement Tremblay will present his most recent project »Pools«. The one-hour screening will show a sequence of ten short films made with a GoPro camera while swimming in different pools around the world. Constructed as New Media visual poems, each film is crafted with original music by a number of Canadian composers and one Icelandic composer. He also has collaborated with Nancy Campbell, an Oxford, England based writer who has written two poems specifically for the films.

The artist will be present.
Admission is free.
