Artist Performer, Helen Benigson will discuss the (M)otherhood in a digitally networked age. What is the impact of the Internet on parents and carers constantly disrupted in relation to this extraordinary moment they are living through.

Why should I attend?
You will receive insights from the artist’s observation of an entangled condition, where the push and pull between online and offline space is amplified, where the (m)othering body is particularly “tied” to others and where a continual disruption of agency and articulacy is at play.
You will also have the chance to discover the Procreate Project with the co-Director, Paola Lucente. The Procreate Project supports mother artists in the UK by organizing a Mother Art Prize that Helen Benigson won in 2020.
