Mother Heart Thousand Woundshas an installation at its heart which is a room where viewers are asked to sit and witness the event taking place via light boxes and an audio piece.
About
This is the first exhibtion by chesterfield based artist Adrian Alvey. The centre of the exhibtion is the installation 'Thousand Wounds'. The rest of the lower gallery artworks support the installation and carry you through the story from its birth 'MotherHeart' to its end 'Thousand Wounds'. The artworks are paintings and sculptures using many different art techniques such as decalcomania and mixed art mediums.
The upper gallery of the exhibition has the artist's social comment works which should raise interest and questions in the viewer.
