About

By Pierre Vannoni " Mother Africa " illustrates 15 years of african journeys and memories where the artist Pierre Vannoni experienced magical moments, discovering and sharing the roots and traditions that are characterizing Africa: motherland, cradle of civilisation and humanity. From Mali to Senegal, via Chad and Burkina Faso, Pierre Vannoni leads the visitor through an African journey and history with striking color and black and white instants and portraits. Meet the artist and be part of history in Hackney as he explores African cultures and roots in Hackney, through identity, migrations and roots: it's the opportunity to engage dialogue with local residents, sharing your journeys and stories about our African Roots.
