Morag Keil: Public Hanging (offsite project)

For this project, artist Morag Keil will produce seven new paintings specifically designed to be shown on the street in Southend-on-Sea during July and August 2011. Work will contain hidden closed circuit television cameras, which will stream live footage to a series of monitors in public venues in Southend's town centre and seafront. Throughout the duration of the exhibition, invited speakers will lead weekly tours of the different sites where Keil's artwork will be installed.
