About
MOON ART is delighted to present Francisco Aguilar Oswald's sculptural work. The artist who was born in Peru and raised in Germany, has emerged as a distinctive voice within contemporary sculpture and paper art, merging traditional materials with innovative, thought-provoking concepts.
FRANCISCO AGUILAR OSWALD - TRADITION MEETS INNOVATION
Characterized by wood sculptures and paperworks, Oswald reflects a deep engagement with his cultural heritage, the natural world, and spiritual themes. Drawing from the rich artistic traditions of Peru, including its indigenous symbolism and spiritual practices, Oswald explores the intersections of identity, memory, and transformation through a unique fusion of materials and techniques.
His compositions represent more than just technical achievements; they are profound reflections on the nature of existence, the sacred, and the human condition. Through his masterful use of wood and paper, he invites us into a world where the material and the spiritual are inextricably linked, where tradition meets innovation, and where nature and identity are ever-evolving.
PERSONAL VISION - UNIVERSAL MESSAGE
Offering a universal message of interconnectedness, transformation, and reverence for the sacred, the sculptures are attracting an international audience. In an era when the boundaries between the sacred and the profane, the natural and the artificial, are increasingly blurred, Francisco Aguilar Oswald’s art provides a powerful reminder of the importance of grounding ourselves in the materials and experiences that connect us to our past, our environment, and our inner selves. His sculptures and paperworks are not just objects; they are vehicles for introspection, dialogue, and, ultimately, transcendence.
