9 artists from Chelsea College of Art & Goldsmiths. Sam Austen, Grace Schofield, Matt La Croix, Carlo Cicero, Alexander Rathbone, Harry Scoging-Beer, Susannah Pal, Paul Kindersley, Patrick Staff. Moistworks are site specific responses to a peculiar dripping space, incorporating painting, performance, film and sculpture. After walking through the estate, past the graveyard and along the track you arrive at the dank murky railway arch in which 9 artist have experimented and explored for a week. The artists involved in the project have been asked to respond to the individual and exceptional structure and atmosphere of Hold & Freight to produce work that interacts with the nature of a group exhibition and the space which holds it.
