The works on display were made between the 50s and 70s, a period of intense activity, research and experimentation by the artist. Not only sculptures but also paintings, works in line with the climate and the period of strong innovation of the first post-war period, which strongly influenced Bozzola's art, followed by his adhesion to the Concrete Art Movement (MAC), which in those years has promoted a new abstract expressive language.
In the works there is a dimension of lightness, of absence of gravity, expansion in space. Bozzola is interested in a set of units that aggregate into a sum that has no end. Lightness, volumes and metal surfaces conquer the space through the use of an operating module (hence the title of the "Modus" exhibition) that dominates Bozzola's works.
The exhibition presents a series of different types of works: from oil paintings on canvas to sculptures made with different techniques, iron, bronze, steel, brass, engraved metal panels and worked in relief. An incredible variety of techniques that fully describe the versatility of Bozzola sculptor, painter but above all artist.
