This one-way route through Tate St Ives guides you through the gallery, with breathtaking views out to Porthmeor beach. You will have the opportunity to see the Modern Art and St Ives displays alongside the Naum Gabo: Constructions for Real Life exhibition.

You can visit all or some of the galleries on this route, as long as you follow the one-way system designed to keep all visitors safe. There will also be access to toilets and the gallery shop.

What you can see

Modern Art and St Ives explores the histories and ideas of modern artists working in and around St Ives during the last century. The artworks displayed introduce the local, national and international significance of a creative community that is still thriving today.

In the Naum Gabo exhibition, you can gain insight into the works a pioneer of international Constructivism. Gabo created work responding to the ideas, materials and technologies of the 20th century. 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of his influential declaration The Realistic ManifestoThe exhibition marks this moment by presenting an extensive selection of Gabo's groundbreaking work including sculptures, models, designs and prints that bought time, space and industrial materials into art for modern life.
