Meet Evelyn Gaiser Professor and George M. Barley Jr. Endowed Chair in Everglades Research. Dr. Gaiser is an aquatic ecologist interested in the long-term change of lakes and wetlands. Her mission is to promote public awareness, education local, national, and international communities, disseminating research findings on environmental issues, and providing leadership for a sustainable future. Dr. Gaiser is also affiliated with the Institute of Water and Environment, an FIU Preeminent Program.

Mixtape Mondays present ideas from FIU faculty across disciplines, using the museum’s collection as a focal point to talk about their research interests. Join us for an informal conversation over free drinks provided by our sponsor Biscayne Bay Brewing Company.
