'Mixed Art Show' is a group art exhibition of photography, paintings and textiles respectively by Andrew, Geoffrey & Tom Unwin, Peter Lely, and Genevieve Rudd
About
The Unwins (three generations) are showing photo images dating back to the 1970s that use both digital and traditional hand-developing dark room techniques. On show are recent images of Norfolk and Suffolk, many of these printed on non-photographic materials that have been coated with light sensitive emulsion. There is also a display entitled What's Your Type featuring a type case and hot metal type challenging the use of specific type faces depending... on your personality. There are also two interactive installations for your enjoyment and participation.
Peter Lely is showing works which challenge, question and inspire.
This a rare chance to view a selection of recent paintings – descriptions of energies created by the juxtaposition of forms.
Lely studied at Guildford School of Art and his pictures have been exhibited in the UK, USA and Spain.

Genevieve Rudd takes her inspiration from the natural world, combining the mixed media techniques of textiles and photography with drawing and printmaking. Based in Gorleston, this is an opportunity to see her work in Norwich. Alongside her own arts practice (BA hons in Photographic Arts, University of Westminster), she runs community arts groups in Norfolk and Suffolk.
