Mission Gallery welcomes you and your family to transform your broken electronic toys and objects into moving robots with artist Sean Olsen. Your mechanical creations will then be put to the test when each family will use their robot to create a large scale painted masterpiece. Morning | Families |10am — 1pm Afternoon | Families | 1:30pm - 4:30pm Please bring any broken, unwanted or unused electronic toys or objects that can be remade into robots, and any items you feel could help your robots create a masterpiece, such as old paintbrushes or toothbrushes. There will be limited materials provided, please bring a minimum of one object and one paintbrush per family. About Sean Sean studied BA Fine Art at UWIC University in Cardiff, Wales where he experimented with mixed media practices including painting, illustration and moving sculpture and worked alongside lecturer Paul Granjon, an artist who creates self-made machines.
