Misleading projectiles at large are attempts to point out via holistic curatorial approach the procedural conceptualization of the betraying performances within the interspace battle on the local and global gluing, withholding the post-pandemic ‘ballistic’ art world. Were their global and local notions becoming indeterminable from the viewpoint of individual perspectives, encompassing momentum of problematic and permanent transformation which has been attributed to the corpus of art discourses and approached with the uttermost fatality in sense of certainty and at the same time of the continual betraying proclamations of the ends trends? Therefore, this diagrammatic construct includes the inevitable historical as actual twist-effect. Within the contained set of works in exhibition, the probe of the recent model of toy aesthetics is deployed as a vector of the spatial – becoming – computational and reflective interface, hence a flex-glossary is engaged into various rocketing points toward the sense of thing completely external to the content its of local as well as regional project projectile via alternative axle index: alterum, to alteraltéré.

from the curatorial text by Darko Vukić

The international group exhibition within Alterum project is realized in cooperation and reciprocal dialogue of four artist-run spaces: U10 from Belgrade, MŰTŐ from Budapest, VUNU from Košice and 35M2 from Prague. The aim of the project is to mutually present and introduce the independent scenes of the four countries and their actors, with an emphasis on non-profit “artist-run” initiatives as important platforms, in the context of contemporary art in Central and Eastern Europe. During the exhibition, numerous presentations, panels and other various events will be organized, both off and online all four cities. The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
