Come join Laura at Playground this August, with an expose of art, object and collage to help your mind wander away from normality. Explore an alternate reality, drink too much coffee and re-live the delirious experience of local anaesthetic compelling one to mount their wisdom tooth in resin.

The lovely people of Climpsons and Sons will have cold brew on tap, and you can see the work of 4 years of mind wandering in London. 

Laura McMillan is an artist - originally from Auckland, New Zealand – now residing in London.

Laura’s practice explores and exposes the absurdities surrounding tradition and nostalgia. Drawing from obsolete textbooks to obscure garden magazines, Laura cuts, splices and recontextualises new worlds out of the past and present. By reliving these past events and analysing how society once lived, played and how we interacted with our surroundings, she produces alternate possibilities of the world and all that could have been.
