Mill Co. 2011 Annual Exhibition
Mill Co. have teamed up with Monotype for their second annual exhibition which launched at The Mill Co. Project, Vyner St, E2 on Thursday Oct 13th with a private view. The show will run until 24th Nov, featuring as the November Time Out First Thursday show.
The brief this year was typographical and Mill Co. artists were given three Monotype fonts, Akko, Neue Haas Grotesk and Rotis II, to do with them what they liked, re-draw them, illustrate them, set them on fire, anything. Approximately 30+ members took part.

Private View
Mill Co. produced beautiful invitations for the private view, they have been supported by GF Smith who provided the stock and Generation Press who printed the invites and foiled them like only they could. At the private view we created three cocktails, one for each of the three fonts, lovingly created by Stav B's Liquor Bar using La Maison Fontaine premium Absinthe. Bad Passion Project DJ'd and Crazy P performed live in the yard.

Panel
Mill Co. & Monotype Imaging have developed a creative panel who have been invited to select works from the show to be developed on behalf of Monotype to be used in future projects. The panel consists of;

The show opened to the public on Saturday Oct 15th will run until Nov 24th at The Mill Co. Project gallery. Works can be purchased at The Mill Co. Store proceeds donated to The Billie Butterfly fund www.billiebutterflyfund.org/. Billie is the niece of Mill Co. member, writer Luke Bainbridge.
