A major exhibition of recent paintings by Mike Bernard RI, a glorious use of mixed media incorporating collage, acrylic and pastel.
About
Mike Bernard, Born in Kent in 1957, is an award winning artist who trained at the West Surrey College of Art and Design, followed by postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy School. His long career has seen him elected a member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour in 1997 and he exhibits widely in London and the provinces.
Mike's work is a glorious use of mixed media incorporating collage, acrylic and pastel. These together with his deep understanding of colour create the most wonderful textual, semi-formal, semi-abstract, always engaging, works of subjects including streets, harbours and markets, in London, Cornwall and Italy.
Mike will be present at the opening. Join us for this exciting exhibition.
