MicroActs is a program of short films, 6 minutes or less, exploring concentrated stroytelling through moving image. We are proud to be a truly international film night, with works coming from over 40 countries and counting to create an evening of conversation through moving image.
About
For MicroActs 11 we are thrilled to work with legendary venue VFDalston for our bumper crop of 20 artist filmmakers. Expect a diverse range of short films (narrative or non-linear, experimental or scripted, abstract emotions, comedy sketches, music videos, and more), MicroActs showcases works that share politics, intersectional experiences and tell stories.
This edition showcases films from Australia, Greece, India, Republic of Korea, The Philippines, Turkey, UK and the USA; exploring themes of materiality, memory, body politics, LGBTQ+ experiences & more. RSVP your FREE tickets on our Eventbrite, we look forward to seeing you!
