MicroActs is a program of short films, 6 minutes or less, exploring concentrated storytelling through moving image. From bold political expression to delicate personal memories to abstract experimental collages; MicroActs aims to create a thought-provoking, informative and diverse evening of film. Expect a diverse range of short films (narrative or non-linear, experimental or scripted, abstract emotions, comedy sketches, music videos, and more), MicroActs showcases works that share politics, intersectional experiences and tell stories. This edition showcases films from Germany, Italy, Réunion, the UK & the USA.

This edition will take place at the exciting Anatomie Studio, based in Peckham, London's premier shibari venue!

Anatomie Studio

Arch 113 / Unit 17 Station Passage SE12 5JR

Anatomie is a sex-positive and kink-positive London venue. 

Operating since 2015, it is also the UK’s first full-time shibari educational space – offering a consent-focused venue for learning and practicing shibari – or Japanese Rope Bondage art.

Anatomie is home to a thriving network of shibari enthusiasts. Join us to discover what rope is all about!

Our bathroom is gender neutral and accessible. The venue is wheelchair accessible (as is the loo), do let us know if you have any disability requirements and we can make sure to have everything ready for you upon arrival.

Directions:

We are located in a railway arch: Arch 113 / Unit 17 Station Passage SE12 5JR

When exiting the station at Queens Road Station, use the exit on your right, then turn right again into Station Passage.

Closest train stations: Queens Road Peckham (2 mins walking distance). 

Other close stations: Peckham Rye and New Cross Gate (10-15mins walk away or 5 min bus ride: get off at ‘Queens Road Peckham’ stop).

Free street parking is available in adjacent streets.
