This show features his latest paintings of London, Wimbledon, Richmond and Marrakesh. It’s a delightful show which includes landscapes, cityscapes and figurative scenes.

Michael Alford is a British figurative artist. He is known for an expressive painting style that fuses classical technique with a sharp, modern sensibility. He lives and works in London. He studied at the Slade and Chelsea Art Schools. He combines painting with travels and trips to India, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas which have provided him with much inspiration. He has been awarded several prizes including , the Agnes Reeve Memorial Prize for best painting of London, the Green and Stone Oil Painting Prize and the Prima Luce Mural Prize. He served as a War Artist to the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards on their tour of Afghanistan in 2011 and to the 1st Mechanised Brigade in 2013, again in Helmand and in Iraq during 2016. Michael is a member of the Chelsea Arts Society and has exhibited widely in the U.K., Italy and U.S.A.
