We are delighted to present an exhibition of paintings by highly regarded British figurative painter Michael Alford. This exhibition will include a variety of oeuvres showing, London scenes, beach scenes, nudes and a series of wonderful Wimbledon Common views.

There will be private view of this exhibition with champagne and an opportunity to meet the artist on the Sunday 8th May at 12 noon until 3.30 pm. We warmly invite you to join us for this event.
Michael Alford is a highly regarded British figurative painter born in Cookham, Berkshire in 1958 who now lives and works in London. Michael's earliest art training came from his father, a colonel in the Royal Engineers, then followed a time in the Royal Marines and later he studied at the Slade and the Chelsea Art Schools. The artist loves to travel and paint, inspired by trips to India, East Africa, the Middle East, Europe, the Caribbean and North America. He has twice been appointed War Artist to the British Military in 2011 and 2013. Prizes awarded include the Green and Stone Oil Painting Prize, the Agnes Reeve Memorial Prize and the Prima Luce Mural prize. Michael is a serving council member of the Chelsea Arts Society and has exhibited widely in the UK, Italy and the USA.
