“MEXICO SCOPE 2017” will be held from the 12th till 15th October 2018 in Berlin, Germany at the iconic BABYLON Cinema.
About
MEXICO SCOPE is the first non-competitive Mexican Film Festival in Germany.
Its objective is to promote the cinematographic work of Mexico’s most outstanding film-makers and provide the audience with a deeper insight and appreciation of the contemporary Mexican culture.
Throughout 4 days, MEXICO SCOPE will present a selection of fiction and documentary films.
The festival features films directed by Mexicans or, in special cases, present a strong cultural influence towards the country and/or its culture, personalities or certain events.
"Me estas matando Susana (You Are Killing Me Susana)", a fiction Film on loutish manliness, and the way in which romances are inherently fraught with tension between individual and shared desires, is our Premiere Film and also national premiere in Germany.
Our closing Film: Oscar and Spanish Goya Award nominee for a best foreign-language film, TEMPESTAD (Documentary).
