Art schools have long been the breeding ground for the bands of the future and Metaphonica considers the relationship between contemporary art and musical excess.
About
Metaphonica explores new territories for artistic innovation and experimentation, between conventions of conceptual art and progressive music culture. How and why should art schools support and perpetuate an inadvertant culture of music? How can we begin to create new platforms for bold and daring creative practices that blur the boundaries between art and music performance, production, distribution/dissemination, exhibition?
