In style and approach the artists represent a diverse cross section of the emerging art scene in 2013 and a showcase of excellence in drawing, painting, installation, sculpture and video. The differing approaches of each artist are united in Islington Arts Factory's unique gallery space, a converted Victorian Gothic church. The gallery is situated in the inspiring setting of a vibrant arts centre, hosting a wide range of artistic practices and attracting a diverse audience. The artists have been invited to propose work that is appropriate to, or inspired by, the context of the space. Devised and curated by IAF's Director of Art Eleanor Pearce, the Metamorphose exhibition has been offering opportunities to new graduates since 2007. Thanks to a significant grant from The Foyle Foundation, the Metamorphose project has developed to include a new residency opportunity and a solo exhibition for one of the exhibiting artists. The winner will be announced in June 2013. Opening times: Mon - Thurs 10.00am - 9.45pm, Friday 10.00am - 7.00pm Please note: Islington Arts Factory will be closed for Bank Holiday Monday on the 27th May Saturday & Sunday 11.00am -5.00pm Tube: Caledonian Road, Holloway Road, Piccadilly Line
