The most cost effective alcohol has been chosen and purchased (keep the receipt), the press release edited for the final time and printed on the right shade of yellow. All pencil marks have been rubbed from the wall, the reams of ‘group’ messages are now obsolete and the quibble of who designs the poster has been decided by ‘group’ vote. The battle as to who takes the photos (and who edits) has be fought and won, the invigilation rota drawn up (you’re doing the most shifts as usual). The planning and arguments are over (for now) and it’s time to open the doors to the public – a perfect arrangement of artworks awaits them, carefully curated in harmony with the ‘group’.

Examples of floor plans and poster designs will compliment projections of invigilation spreadsheets and rotas, extracts from messages discussing organisation (Whatsapp Wallpaper) will back up late nice voice notes and discussions reverberating around the room will look to explain print outs expressing desired timeframes, materials and number of extension leads required. 

Visitors will be invited to fill in the invigilation spreadsheet, add ideas to the whiteboard, take part in ‘Chair Game of Power’, add their receipts to the expenses folder and move objects around in order to pre-curate their own show – full powers of project management will be given over.
