Looking at how profession infuses identity, we present a mixed exhibition of paintings and prints exploring the working person's life, whether at work or at play.
About
Exhibiting paintings from Ken White, who was Richard Branson’s personal mural artist for 26 years. Branson commissioned White to design the highly distinctive Scarlet Lady illustration, which was featured on the nose of every Virgin aircraft. Also included in the show is megastar of the Northern art scene Ben Kelly, whose work is highly sought after by collectors all over the country. First time exhibitor at the gallery Steven Bewsher has been compared to Ben Kelly as the new rising talent of the North by Cheshire Today magazine and one to watch out for in the future. Federation print-maker Jane Stobart RE has work in high-profile collections including The Museum of London and the Ashmolean in Oxford. Portrait painter Toby Ward NEAC is a member of the New English Art Club and has worked on commissions for HRH The Duke of Edinburgh and the late Lord Rothermere, amongst many others.
