For London Creativity and Wellbeing Week, Studio Upstairs is taking over Gillett Square and turning it into a giant doodle pad! Studio Upstairs is an Arts and Health charity based in Gillett Square Dalston, dedicated to supporting recovery through creativity. Through this event we are hoping to engage the local community and describe in creative ways how art can save lives. www.studioupstairs.org.uk Join this FREE event on Sunday 17th June from 1pm — 5pm — Open to all ages and abilities, just turn up and you will be provided with creative starting points and a pack of chalks, then let your imagination run wild! This event is also run in partnership with Outside In: Outside In provides a safe space and platform for artists who find it difficult to access the art world. The Outside In: National exhibition is held at Pallant House Gallery from 27th October 2012 — 3rd February 2013. If you create an online gallery on the Outside In website you can choose to submit two pieces of work to be put forward for the selection for the exhibition.
