Make a simple coat peg using basic woodworking techniques.
I am passionate about furniture! I’ve been directly involved in the furniture industry for the past eighteen years. I have worked as a bespoke furniture designer, maker and production coordinator and now spend my time educating the next generation of furniture designers and craftsmen at Rycotewood furniture centre, now a key partner in the recently formed National School of Furniture.
Make a simple coat peg using a combination of native hardwoods and coppiced hazel. You will use basic woodworking techniques of drilling, sanding and shaping, and use a rounding tool to make a traditional tenon joint.
