D Contemporary is delighted to present the dual show ‘Metallics’, showcasing Caroline de Rothschild and Long Ly.
Combining the industrial elements of Long's sculptures with Caroline's intriguing use of gold, sliver and bronze leaf in her paintings, ‘Metallics’ is set to be an innovative show bringing together the traditional and the contemporary.
Both Caroline and Long, who is originally from Vietnam, have studios on the Exbury Estate. Talking on a regular basis, their practice is already in dialogue with each other’s; reflecting a shared surrounding through their individual works.
