Patrik Söderlund, Taru Elfving, Edwina Fitzpatrick and Naomi Siderfin in conversation

IC-98 artist Patrik Söderlund is joined by curator Taru Elfving and artist Edwina Fitzpatrick in a public discussion chaired by Naomi Siderfin that focuses on art projects that combine the visionary with a practical approach to the omnipresent sceptre of environmental change.

This event is programmed in response to IC-98’s current solo exhibition at Beaconsfield Gallery Vauxhall.

IC-98 are best known for animated film installations, which combine classical drawing and digital effects, often depicting landscapes shaped by interlaced forces of nature and technology, navigation and exploitation, climate and migration. These epic moving image works are complemented by long-duration environmental art projects.
