About
On the coming weekend, as part of Oriel Q’s Welsh Design & Illustration Show 2016, featured artist, Miss Maya Mitten, will be running a workshop, ‘Painting with Scissors’.
Mitten’s work is mainly photomontage/papier colle following an esteemed lineage from Picasso and Braque, by way of Hannah Hoch to Kurt Schwitters, then Richard Hamilton to Sir Peter Blake to name a few.
There will be two sessions on Saturday 14 May, 11am – 1.30pm, then 2.30 – 4pm. Its suitable for the whole family but young children must be accompanied by an adult. Please ring/email the gallery to book.
