Matt Jones Solo Exhibition 7th — 30th May 2010 Private View 6th May 6-9pm Following Matt Jones' first solo photography exhibition last summer at Colette, Paris, Oblong is proud to present his first solo show in London. This exhibition will feature an eclectic range of retrospective works, including pieces from some of his most recent projects. Matt has been working as a photographer for over a decade. His work spans fashion, film and portraiture; he has captured some of visual culture's most recognisable faces, his debut being the explicit photograph of a young, naked Damien Hirst. This explosive image, which was his first major contribution for i-D Magazine, catapulted him into a prolific series of magazine covers, major editorials and features. He is currently New York editor for i-D and continues to contribute to a wide variety of magazines and advertising campaigns. Although Matt Jones is London-born, he lives between his two homes in New York and Woodstock with his wife, artist and actress, Jicky Schnee.
