Always included in MLG’s major collections and unique works is Russian-born Marc Chagall who rose to artistic maturity in France, and as an early modernist was associated with several major artistic styles. He stands out as one of the most original artists of his age.  His dream-based imagery was revered by contemporary Surrealists, but rather than simply joining that movement, he chose to pursue his own. MLG is proud to exhibit Bay of Angels (.350), a hand-signed lithograph this work is part of a series of paintings dedicated to Paris. Paris 1962 - designed for the French Tourist Commissariat to be used as a poster advertising Nice and the Cote d'Azur outside France.
