About
Under the artistic direction of Edoardo Bonaspetti, the exhibition on Massimo De Carlo is a fundamental tribute to the person who most profoundly moves the threads of Italian art in Italy and abroad, and with its 4 galleries in Milan, Hong Kong and London , makes and discovers the paths of a good slice of the international art market. The exhibition is by Matilde Cassani, architect, designer and artist, just back from the triumph of Manifesta in Palermo. From the immense collection of De Carlo, the 100 exhibited objects explore the complex relationship between art and industry in its most rare and complex expressions: there are the paradigmatic embroideries by Alighiero Boetti, exempla of every debate on art and authorship. There are marvelous Bauhaus pottery, produced during the Weimar Republic, and those absolute masterpieces which are the posters of Fronzoni, a mythical and revered character of Italian graphics. Impossible not to be dazzled by the contemptuousness of which MDC shows with this choice so delicate and powerful at the same time.
