Castello 925 presents Martin Weinstein · Dentro | Fuori in the 780 project space located at Fondamenta San Giuseppe, 780 in Venice Italy. This solo exhibition of the artist’s most recent dimensional paintings on multiple acrylic sheets is of views of Venice - both exterior, with its magnificent canals and architecture juxtaposed with interior studies of elegant Italian domesticity. Weinstein's unique practice of painting on flat transparent layers that are re-assembled inside of a clear enclosure, creates a deep and infinitely shifting space. In Dentro | Fuori, Martin continues to play with perception as he reshuffles his painted panels, inventing dimensional and temporal ambiguities.
