Martello Tower App Celebration

Jaywick Martello Tower will be celebrating the completion of the Walls and Gardens project . The family fun event is free and includes storyteller Mike Dodsworth, Juke Box Jenny, a fabulous singer who does a human jukebox act, a magic/juggling act, a circus workshop with stilts, juggling, unicycle, dibble etc, craft workshops and face painting. The event with organisational help from the Grand Theatre of Lemmings is the finale to a five year project which has included a touring exhibition about Tendring during the Napoleonic wars, public artwork, improved access to Jaywick Martello Tower and ecology work. An app and a series of signs linking all the Martello Towers along the Tendring coastline will be launched at the event.
