Mark Powell, Biro Man often referred to as White-walls due to the popularity of his work. The gallery is delighted that from September 15th to 28th we will be exhibiting this emerging artist's intensely beautiful drawings. The familiar faces of old souls, their life's travails writ large in ink, now sit alongside, birds, apes and other animals. Each presented on the artists preferred canvas of found, maps, postcards, journals and documents. The effect is of a collection or menagerie linking the past to the present, telling a story but leaving enough room for the imagination to work its wonders.
