About

Mrs. is very excited to announce, The Dangers of Eden, a solo exhibition of new works by Mark Mulroney, on view September 8 - November 3, 2018.  Please join us for an opening reception with the artist on Saturday, September 8, between 6 - 9pm.

The last time Mark fell out of a tree was 34 years ago. He broke both of his arms and couldn’t play soccer for 3 months.  His casts itched and smelled terrible. Since then his arms have been relatively clean and itch free and he uses them to make paintings.  Several of his new paintings will be available for viewing and public criticism starting September 8, at Mrs. in Queens, NY. Please come, look at the work and smell his arms.

Mark Mulroney received a BFA from San Diego State University and an MFA in Studio Arts from University of California at Santa Barbara.  Currently, Mulroney lives and works in North Haven, CT. Recent exhibitions include Ampersand Gallery, Portland, OR; CG2 Gallery, TN; Mixed Greens, Joshua Liner, New York, and Mrs, Queens, NY;  EverGold and Park Life, San Francisco; Left Field, San Luis Obispo and Slow Culture, Los Angeles, CA.  Mulroney recently attended a residency at The Tamarind Institute at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM.  His work is included in Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego, The West Family Collection and the The Progressive Collection.  This is the artist’s first solo exhibition with Mrs.
