About
The Crate, in association with Pratt Contemporary are proud to present Mark Hayward's first ever solo exhibition in London.Mark has been causing a stir in the art world since leaving The Royal College of Art, where he was recognized by winning the Tim and Belinda Mara Award.
In 2009 his work was selected for the prestigious Jerwood Drawing Prize exhibition and since then his work has featured widely in shows across the UK.
Mark's playful, faceless characters ' reconciling themes of past and present, fantasy and reality, violence and slapstick ' give us a fresh and often unnerving perspective on familiar scenes.
On display will be Mark's latest collection of drawings, limited edition prints and projected animations.
