An exhibition of Marion Stuart ceramics, drawings and paintings. In her autobiographical artwork she explores automatic writing selecting words and phrases from ‘The Dartmoor Omnibus’ by Eden Philpots.
Her works respond to her west country heritage using porcelain paper clay and the printed text and handwriting in it’s legible and illegible form. Also on show will be her tiny porcelain houses, inspired by the concept of home and a safe places, emphasised by the raised legs that many of the houses sit upon. Marion graduated from Bretton Hall Leeds in 1998 with a BA in Fine Art Ceramics.
