About
The exhibition is a selection of new works from the Maria Naidyonova: “2018” presents
mostly female figures revealing their inner selves through her use of intensity, implication and gesture.
Maria Naidyonova is a Ukrainian-born, Berlin-based fine artist, specializing in evolved figurative painting and drawing. With four Degrees and work in several collections, Naidyonova’s work captures and infuses moments with the hidden meaning inherent in
everyday life.
Her work has been shown in New York, Berlin, Kiev and other cities.
Most recently, her large-scale canvas “The Game” has caused a furor in the Berlin art community. “The Game,” a riff on a variety of master works and literary references, will be featured in Maria Naidyonova: “2018,” along with several other works which have
appeared this past year in shows held across Germany and in the USA.
