Polish painter who works from her studio in south of France is showing her tapestries and new paintings from her trips to Scotland.
About
Margaret Laird is a Polish artist living between London and south of France .
She studied in Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and then, in Royal College of Art, London
Margaret won several prices for her Tapestry works, and exhibited in Warsaw Zacheta (Grand Prix 1982), International Textile Biennale Kyoto Japan 1987, Chelsea Craft Fair1985, Touring British Contemporary Exhibition in UK, Shiply Art Gallery, Bransey Williamson Art Gallery, Ernst Muzeum Hungary, Textile Muzeum Łódź, Poland 1989 -1990, Utraque Lungo Rosengase Vienna Austria.
From 2002 she exhibited her work also in the south of France Nice Museav and Cannes Miramar, Musée Saint Nazaire Sanary and Scotland Orkney Stromness Pier Art.
