Mares | Tormented Seas is a collection of beautiful and mesmeric compositions of the seas under moonlight skies. The evocative black and white imagery photographed with emotional sensibility, conveys the tranquil power of mother nature’s elements...the sea.
About
Eurivaldo Bezerra is an emerging and international photographer from Brazil. After a successful professional career working as a solicitor, Bezerra discovered his métier and turned his latent talents towards becoming a full time photographer.
The year 2015 marked the first of Bezerra’s solo exhibitions with several shows in the following years to the current day in his homeland of Brazil. His genre features exploratory double exposure compositions and various study projects of both colour and achromatic landscapes, seascapes and abstract photography.
The evocative images outlined by his new exhibition Tormented Seas, represents a beautiful study of the mesmerising elements of the sea. Bezerra using a combination of achromatic settings and the poetry of moonlight skies has produced a series of work that emits tranquility and a solitude of mind and personal reflection.
