Teaming up with Slap Ya Papa, purveyors of all things Louisiana, soul food and jumpin’ live music, Marbles and Ware will be hosting a two-week long exhibition and Saturday takeover, with a daytime marketplace, auction supper club and after-party ball at the juggernaut of cutting-edge art and culture that is The Vaults at Waterloo.

About

Every Saturday Marbles & Ware Collective will be dressing up, acting up and plying our wares.  In the day we offer our trademark pop-up marketplace- The Bizarre Bazaar- where artists and traders flog treasures and trinkets from far afield.

Then supper beckons.  Slap Ya Papa banquets are prepared by Michelin trained chefs, and you will be served tasty soul food to the southern soundtrack of live jazz, blues, soul and funk music, all against the backdrop of a pulsing Southern Wilds exhibition, curated by Marbles and Ware.

As night falls, the Bidders’ time has come.  Get set for a dizzy bidding frenzy as Marbles and Ware’s eccentric auctioneers and exhibitioners tout the latest works from the Next Big Things at this Bidders’ Bizarre Auction.

Finish the evening in fine Louisiana style, dancing to a live brass band while Marbles and Ware pop the cork on our ‘all manner of mischief’ Mardi Gras-esque Bidders’ Ball.

So grab ya horn, get your dancing shoes on and come soak up some good ol' fashioned Southern hospitality!

Marbles & Ware produce theatrical spectaculars that showcase and sell the work of emerging artists. Whether in auction, market or installation form, they work with a whole host of creatives to create live, immersive, bizarre experiences for their audiences.
