Snöar Press is a London based publishing house founded by Ben Goulder dedicated to the production of limited edition books and zines of contemporary art. Launching in the spring on 2015, Snöar has released fifteen publications to date, curated three exhibitions and appeared at the national and international Book Fairs including Printed Matter's New York and LA Art Book Fairs.

Marble Your Lungs With Silence is a timestamp of Snöar Press in 2018 - comfortable in a fine art setting, comfortable in a more DIY setting but not necessarily fitting in to either. The intention behind the event it is to present an alternative to a traditional gallery or music venue and create an atmosphere more welcoming than a typical daytime book fair - encouraging people to stick around for the duration rather than leave as soon as they have looked around. Entrance to the fair is free with tickets to concert at £10 adv

The event has been curated by Ben Goulder and celebrates diversity across genre and landscapes. Musically the sounds include pop, post-punk, industrial, harsh noise, power electronics and field recordings with the book fair offering DIY zines, artist books, political magazines and more
