Water, Mills and Marshes: The Broads Landscape Partnership is an ambitious regional programme, encompassing 38 projects across 55 partner institutions supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

About

This community-led project celebrates the landscape of the region, inviting residents and visitors to reconnect with the unique features and heritage of the Broads.

One of these projects, Mapping the Broads, showcases the work of three outstanding illustrators, all lecturers at Norwich University of the Arts on BA (Hons) Illustration.

Glyn Brewerton, Neil Bousfield and Peter Nencini are exhibiting individual bodies of work responding to their experience of the landscape and working with the communities that live in the area.

Collectively they present a striking, insightful and diverse exhibition that conveys a lived experience of the landscape, through drawing, print, text, photography and digital imaging. Mapping the Broads is a stunning review of the local area and an insight into contemporary illustration practice.

East GalleryNUA is delighted to hold this exhibition to celebrate the wealth of talent in its academic community and to support the ongoing Water, Mills and Marshes partnership.
