Richard Heeps' seductive, highly-saturated colours and sophisticated pictorial structures demonstrate a true love and empathy for this subject matter — be it cool, descriptive interiors, still life or landscape. His distinctive style pushes the limits of lens-based photography without the need for digital manipulation. Heeps has worked as an artist for over 20 years, exhibiting in across the country in galleries including Rochester Art Gallery, The Photographers' Gallery, London, amongst others. His work has also featured in The British Journal of Photography, The Times, and The Independent, with commissions by the ICA and Portobello Books. He lives and works in Cambridge.
