About
Press release:
The Candid Art Trust will host a handful of the most exciting emerging artists from across London - featuring;
Curation by Jonah Fried
Poster by Holly Crandon.
London has become a microcosm of social reform amidst British political turmoil. Yet, it is invaded by inequality, deceit, racism, homophobia and injustice. This exhibition hopes to visualise a vast landscape of young people’s varying experiences in a hugely progressive yet troubled space. Thus the title ‘Mankind is a God in Ruins’. This year’s Turner prize nominees broke formality by jointly accepting the prize by uniting as a collective instead of choosing singular glory. So too must the young Artists in London come together and cross-pollinate one another’s practice.
Join us from 6- 10pm on Wednesday, January 29th for the Private View and some drinks with the artists.
