About
This experimental installation brings together five multi-disciplinary artists from the North West whose practice explores the human relationship between place and technology.
The artists respond to the unique aspects of the Pyramid building to inform site-specific artworks creating re-imagined spaces encouraging a reconsidered view of the building and our interaction with it.
Digital capabilities change our perceptions and understanding of the world around us, while modern mapping offers a reconsideration of how we access, navigate and experience our urban and rural spaces. Using the architecture and histories of the Pyramid building the artists will investigate the idea of smooth and striated spaces.
The exhibition combines both sonic and visual elements.
