RART :are a socially aware collective of emerging and established artists, writers and designers based in east London and beyond. Through exhibitions, open forums, art Rants and happenings are currently creating a rolling manifesto. For two weeks at Bash Studios, RART will create a sustainable gallery, artist studio and education room all in one. The exhibition, Manifesto 1 will be showcasing work of innovative contemporary artists embracing our ethos and using found objects or materials that have had a previous life within their work. Manifesto 1 will be exploring and championing the deconstruction of our everyday surroundings to create a different visual language. Open forum, theoretical debate, historical Rants and drop in studio sessions will be on going within this programme.
