Exhibition: 6th May - 4th June 2011 Late Night Opening: 6-8pm, Friday 13th May CUBE is proud to collaborate with the Manchester Society of Architects to bring you their annual exhibition and Design Awards in 2011. The MSA exhibition is a showcase for the work of the architectural profession in the Greater Manchester region. The Design awards, held annually since 1995, are presented for buildings that have made a particularly positive contribution to the local environment and are judged, from the exhibited projects, by a jury consisting of architects and non-architects. In previous years, this forum has attracted many high quality submissions which showcase the talent of architects in the area, many of whom have also won both regional and national RIBA awards. The aims of the competition are: Ӣ To promote the value of architectural design Ӣ To raise the profile of architects and demonstrate the benefits of good design Ӣ To demonstrate the design skills of the architect This year, the MSA continues the success of the 2010 exhibition, bringing the 2011 awards to CUBE with a fully curated exhibition being featured in the Spring programme of events. The 2010 awards exhibition attracted unprecedented interest from practitioners and the public alike we hope this will continue in 2011.
